The audience has highly anticipated Kung Fun Panda Movies. The movies had new animation, and people loved watching all the parts. But, first, let us recap the whole franchise, how it has grown over the years and the expectations from the new part of the movie.
Kung Fu Panda
The first instalment of the movie was released back in 2008 and turned out to be a massive success. When Pixar was the only big name in animation movies, Dreamworks left a mark with Kung Fu Panda. The movie revolves around a Panda named Po. he lives with his father in the town where they sell noodles. Po is clumsy but enthusiastic about Kung Fu. The first movie is about the journey of Po towards learning Kung Fu. he faces lots of hardships and rejections but ends up learning the art. The movie also introduced us to some Kung Fu masters who kept on coming in the next movies. The five kung fu masters are tigress, mantis, monkey, viper, crane.
Kung Fu Panda 2
The second movie shows Po as a trained and reputable Kung Fu master. He is responsible for protecting his village. This movie is a reflection of Po’s inner conflict. His curiosity for his biological parents. Po and his five accomplices are given the task of stopping an evil Kung Fu master. He is constantly getting flashbacks of his past life. Finally, he gets to meet his biological parents, and all of them together wins over the evil Kung Fu master.
Kung Fu Panda 3
Kung Fu Panda 3 is also a great instalment in the franchise. The movie has another story arc where Po has to fight a master with the help of a specific move only. Pandas only know the move. However, it turns out no pandas remember it. So Po struggles to bring back Kung Fu pandas. He is also dealing with his biological and adoptive fathers at the same time. The movie ends with Po teaching Kung Fu everywhere.
Shorts and Spin-Offs
There have been multiple shorts and spin-offs released over the years by Dreamworks Animations. This has also performed a role in keeping the spark alive for a new movie. There have been two total spin-offs series made on the movie. The last Kung Fu Panda series was released back in 2019. This means there have been on and off comebacks of Kung Fu Panda.
Cast
Kung Fu Panda has a stellar cast. Some characters are main and recurring in all of the three arts of the movies. It has Jack Black as Po has become a favourite character for everyone. Angelina Jolie, as the tigress, is loved by girls. Jackie Chan playing the voice of the monkey is spectacular. The movie has so many other actors that do justice with their characters. In every movie, there are new characters introduced too. So we are expecting some new voices in Kung Fu Panda 4 too.

Since the release of Kung Fu Panda 3, the fans are looking forward to the next instalment. The directors and producers of the movies believe in working hard on the movie. Unfortunately, in 2016 they did not give any clear indication on the 4th movie of the franchise. However, it is not off the table. There is no real news, but rumours are that Kung Fu Panda 4 has already started. They have not made any official report, but we can expect a new movie in the coming years.
