Her college friends
Writing is a big part of my life, too. I’ve always loved to read, and I have a nice collection of books. Sometimes I think about starting a book club with my friends, but who has time for that? Then again, maybe it would be more relaxing than studying for another exam! Then again… My favorite movie genre is horror – specifically slasher flicks from the 80s. They are cheesy and over-the-top in all of their glory. However, sometimes they can really make you appreciate those creepy moments in your own life when someone knocks on your door at 1:00 AM – instead of something more sinister! Thankfully it’s never happened to me yet.
Her dog named Nina
Jesse Padilla’s sister has a dog. His name is Nina and he lives with his owner, Kyle Rittenhouse. Nina is very playful and always ready to play with anyone. When Kyle was home on winter break she would take him on walks. He loves these walks since he can run around without a leash or worry about cars driving too fast in front of them as they walk down a busy street. Although Nina is a family pet, Jesse does not enjoy going near him because Jesse does not like dogs. But he never stops his sister from loving her dog and even sometimes plays fetch with him! The first time that Jesse saw Nina was when his sister got home from college for winter break just before Christmas break was over.

Kyle’s hobbies include yoga, painting, and gardening. She is known to be a perfectionist when it comes to her artwork and has been told that her style has a controlled expressionism. Kyle loves summertime and all of its bounties of food: she eats strawberries, corn on the cob, steamed crabs, bratwurst (also known as German sausage), chicken salad, grilled salmon … you get it. Her go-to dessert is ice cream with homemade hot fudge sauce drizzled over top. When Kyle isn’t in her studio working on new paintings or spending time outdoors with friends or family, she likes watching movies or binging on Netflix at home while drinking wine.
